Mithos Yggdrasill
Mithos is a friend of Genis's who turns out to be Yggdrasill, the mightiest of the angels who rules over Cruxis and the Desians. Mithos, resembling a 14-year-old child, was a great swordsman who trained under the guidance of Kratos. He had strong ideals about peace and unity, but his sister's death deepened his hatred for humanity and made him lose track of whether the world, or her life, was more important to him. Mithos does, however, have (in his opinion) the best interests of the worlds at heart; the only problem is that Martel's death pushed him into thinking of extreme "solution".
